Swingarm extension

Hello new to the fourm, but was wondering if anyone knew a link to order a streach kit for a 2012 ninja 250 , or if anyone knew a fabrication process ? I've had my bike for about a year and haven't made and mods to it yet. And want to improve appearance as well as proformance .

An extended swingarm really does not improve performance on the Ninja 250 at all. It is just for looks. For most who own a 250, it looks weird on such a small bike, but to each his own. Kits are not cheap and most are custom made to order.

How much length do you want and how much are you willing to spend?

Just a wider rim is a better appearance and performance choice IMO.

I've talked to a few riders about it and I've decided to not go with the extension but mod wise, I just installed a k&n filter and its running weird. Like it will lose power in higher rpm's . I was told to shim my carb needles with 3 mm washers. What difference will this make? And do I remove the snorkel after shimming? Also I still have stock exhaust.
