If you have Puig Racing Windscreen post pictures in here (especially black bikes)... I'm thinking about ordering one...
Debating whether to paint it or just buy it...

looks just like the double-bubble. I've seen 250's that have them (both Puig and double bubble) and they look pretty sweet. A lot nicer than the stock

In my opinion $80 for a windscreen is a lot. It doesn't affect anything. I've saw threads on here and others of plasti dip and they look just as good. If u lay down Mab it's worth it but I would plasti dip and save some money for other upgrades

it's not about the tent though. The double-bubble and puig are both more curved which helps keep wind away from the rider's chest

I bought a more curved windscreen for my '07 and can tell you that it makes a huge difference, especially when riding against the wind. I agree $80 is a lot though. I only paid $45 for mine

what year is your bike?

Mike at mikeshields.com makes aftermarket screens for the 88-07's. They're all reasonably cheap too. He takes a really long time as his health isn't very good. You'll probably receive it about a month after you order it. But it's worth it, in my opinion

wow you're right. Not a good day for me now. I was planning on ordering a taller one.

There were a few other aftermarket vendors, but he was the last as far as I know

eBay has some knockoffs that are located in the US if you're interested. I am looking at buying one...
