Power Help

Hi all, I just picked up a 2009 ninja 250r track bike. I was attempting to install a gear indicator but now have ran into some problems. The bike doesn’t use a key and has a by pass power button that usually turns blue when pressed to turn the bike on. There are three wires red orange and black coming from the bikes electrical.

For some reason the red wire (power) is not receiving any power now. I have no idea why. The by pass button is not turning blue obviously because the red wire is not receiving any power.

Any ideas on how to trouble shoot. See video and pics below.
