Powder Coating Rims

Im going to be purchasing a 2008 Ninja 250 in the plasma blue color with just under 900 miles from a great friend of mine, the bike is 100% stock and I want to change that. Im thinking about doing a blue on white color scheme.

What do you guys think about white powder coated rims?

Or any other color suggestions that would look sick. Thanks!! :righton

i just put metallic blue rim strips on mine and those look badass
Don't let anybody influence what you do to the bike cosmetically. It's your bike! If you think white rims would look awesome, then go for it!

Although, if you plan on selling it after a couple years, I'd suggest keeping it as stock as possible :)

I agree with tadster. It's should express you not other people
its relatively easy to get your rims powder coated but not cheap i used to powder coat huge pipes and the process was simple they welded, cleaned, sand blasted, powder coated(1 coat primer, 1 coat clear, 3 or 4 coats of color chosen and 1 more coat of clear) all while baked in the oven at 500 degrees between each coat. but remember this was the process for us i dont know what it is for rims.
