Hey everyone!

Got a great deal an an '04 Ninja 250. It isn't my main ride, but it is a blast! I plan on getting a Blue Collar Bobbers cafe kit for it, but for now, I'm just enjoying it, stock. I just put some new tires on it and I have a couple of questions. Where can I find an performance upgrade kit for the front forks? Also, any suggestions on performance suspension? It rides very soft and 'squishy.' I'd like a more firm and sporty ride. Also, where can I go for other upgrades, suck as brakes and what not? Is there a way to increase the bottom end? Like I said, it's fun to ride, but getting to 60 mph takes about a day and a half. Thanks!

At what rpm are you shifting? If you get them up to around 9k, you'll hit 60 faster than any other 250.

For the front suspension, you can install some stronger springs, put in a heavier fork oil, and get some gold valve emulators. For the rear, you can get a few different aftermarket shocks. Many 250 owners put an sv650 shock on the rear.

Again, for acceleration purposes, you can always change the sprocket ratio.

On another note. The 250 is really geared very aggressive as it is. It wipp never be a drag king.
Best to draw on its strong points and make them better.
