Hey guys what's up? I'm back again with a minor problem. As I posted yesterday, I cleaned out my carbs not too long ago and now in the process of putting everything back together. Yesterday I posted about a mysterious hose which I soon found out was a drain hose. Now I have another problem.. a hose problem... Where does the hose on the left side of the carburetor connect to? I will post a picture. Thanks in advance!

So I had a look in my manual which covers all years and it says the difference between the model years is that the 2008 on models has it going to the "T" connector I mentioned. Then the 1988 -2007 models it goes to the fuel valve. It's called the "fuel valve vacuum hose". Hope this helps?

Thanks a lot guys. That really helped out. Now I have a second problem. I put my carbs back in today and started up the bike. When it started, gas was leaking from the carbs. Have an idea of what this can be?

First 2 things I would check are the fuel valve inlet needle for proper operation and then the correct float height. Sometimes the fuel valve needle gets gummed up and jams. That pin on the end should snap in and out. Try pushing it in and out with a tech screwdriver or equivalent. Replace it if it doesn't work right.
