I had it sitting for a month or so and now when I press the start button noting happens. If i pull the gas a bit and press the button then it starts no problem. Any ideas? Could it be Fi issue? Just to clarify this is the European model and its Fi 2009 model.

Make sure your throttle cable has the proper slack, your idle speed is properly set (when fully warmed) and that your battery is fully charged.

not sure if the fi model has an idle air bypass or throttle stop screw but cables/screws and such can/will get stretched/loose over time...
