I have an 07 ninja 250 and I want to put rims from an 08 or up ninja 250 on my bike. (I like the 17's, but they're also like 10 mm wider in front and rear) I found some used rims from a 2010 that I want to buy but I just want to see if anyone else out there has done this? And if it was succesful? Will i have to buy new rotors and axles or will mine from my 07 fit the 10? I dont want to spend the money if they're either not going to fit correctly or if its going to be a huge hassle to do it. I can't see it being too much of a problem but just want to check first. Any tips would help, thanks.

It can be done but you will need, the 2010 swingarm, calipers, rotors, wheels spacers and maybe even the suspension links...that's just for the rear. The front will require the fork brace/fender mount and fender (17 inch wheels will rub the stock fender) wheels spacers caliper & rotor and speedo gear hub.
