I recently installed a K&N air filter to my 2012 ninja 250 since installing a more breathable filter should I shim my carbs? Will it increase my throttle response? And should I remove snorkle completely or trim down the snorkle a few inches?

Quick question for the newbie that I am.... Does anyone know if just shimming the needles will be ok for performance when doing a Yoshimura slip on or full exhaust? Or do I have to do a complete re-jet? Any help is always appreciated--- Chicago816 08 Ninja 250r Black

I will do a DIY on this tomorrow, I need to reload the pics for it. You may ask why I dont just link it or use another DIY, but there is a step that is missed in all other write ups, that I will clarify here. Jason
