    i just bought a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R that is basically brand new, but the previous owner installed lowering links (back only) because they were quite shorter than i am. I have the OEM Rod-ties to replace the links but i am new to this and cannot figure out the best way to take off the links...

    Do I have to remove both left and right lowers to remove the middle fairing? Also is there a way to take the middle fairing off without the headlight? I want it to stay on the bike. Thanks.

    Is there an alternative to a jack for swingarm removal? Maybe ease the motor onto a block of wood with a rear stand? I'm trying to cut cost and do this without purchasing a jack.

    It was a pain. The mounting brackets are actually inside the front fairing, and you can't remove the front fairing without having to remove both side fairings.
