|GreatScott||In Los Angeles, 2008 or newer models are in the $3,000 to $3,500 range unless they are salvaged, been dropped or have modifications that make you suspicious of the previous owner. There was a moment in January where I found a couple under $3,000 but once it warmed back up they disappeared. I should have gotten one then and not have waited until spring.|

that's a little high. I think you could easily talk them down to $2500. which to me would be pretty reasonable

What is a decent price for a 2008+ 250?
So after more research than I would have liked, I believe I'm finally ready to get my first motorcycle. I want to go with a 2008 or newer 250 and would like your opinion on what a good price would be.
One decent looking deal in my area is a 2008 with 2,300 miles for $2950. There are a few other bikes with similar specifications around the same price point, but this is currently the best. Both NADA and KBB say that a bike of this age should be a little cheaper, but I'm not sure how accurate those sources are when it comes to motorcycles. What do you guys think? Thanks for reading!
