If you feel like the throttle is sticking, the firt thing to check is to make sure the throttle grip is not touching the housing. This is the most common cause of sticky throttle. Second is to make sure the housing is not twisted in a way that puts tension on the cable. Third is to make sure the cables are properly lubed. A bike that sits out in weather may have it's cables dry out a little faster than normal. A little lube works wonders.
