Turn signal troubles

On my 2007 ninja 250 the turn signal bulb is out. I replaced the bulb and even switched it with the other side (front turn signal) and still won't work. I was wondering if anyone has had a similar problem that might narrow down the troubleshooting.

the same turn signal won't come on? As in, after you switched the bulbs, the same side continues to not work.

Are they stock turn signals or aftermarket turn signals?

Either way, the wiring could be messed up somewhere.

From what I know, they are stock. I just bought the bike 2 days ago. I'll sort through the wiring with a electrical tester. I got plenty of time to sort this out, since there is about 8 inches of snow.
