Help please :(

Okay so yesterday while riding to meet up with my wife I took the interstate and when ever I tried to get the bike up to 80 mph it would die, figured it was the carb, so I cleaned it and put it back on and it won't stay running, it will run for about a minute or 2 with the choke on but then it dies! I also had the valves adjusted on Monday, maybe they are too tight? Or too lose? I'm going to take the bike in tomorrow and give them the ninja wiki page on doing valves to make sure they are good, or should I just do them my self? Idk help please

Were there any symptoms before the valve adjustment? What year bike? How many miles?

Did you have a shop do the valve adjustment on Monday? Do you have a service manual?
