Ninja 250R 2010- rear tyre Rim bent

Hi all,

Last week end , I was riding my ninja 250r 2010 at a speed of 90km/hr and hit a pothole. The impact was huge, and then i checked for any major failures.

All seemed to be fine.. except on the rear wheel , their was slight Rim bend(side wall where the tyre goes into the rim). the bend is of 1/2 inch displacement from it mean position. and their is suppose to me no major air leaks from it. I Drove back home safely without any problem after the incident.

What should i do, should i go for a replace or go for some repair work ( which corrects the bend using heat treatment process)

Any suggestions.???

Sounds like a perfect excuse to upgrade to Marchesinis.
