my ninja makes a weird high pitch sound...merged threads

Does anyone experience a high-pitched squeal when the tank builds pressure? (full or empty)

I can park when it's cool in the morning, and as the air temp. rises, it starts to make noise. (even in the garage when it's warm)
Not really a "problem", just annoying.

Weird, I hear the same thing, and it seems to be stronger (or higher-pitched) when the bike is off the side-stand. I just assumed it was normal, since it's my first bike.

That could be a reason. Mine has 1,733 miles but I'll keep that in mind.

I don't know how would that change, though. Would it be something about gas lines or something similar breaking in?

What I have noticed is that it starts/stops, depending on if it's leaning on the side stand or standing upright. But I believe it stops when raising it up.

i've noticed it on mine, seems to only do it when its good and warm and its def gas expansion thru the gas cap, nothing to worry about in my opinion.... but ... i dont think i'd smoke a cigarette around it ?

Mine does it as well and the bike has 1,600 mi on it. I've gotten used to it, actually grown somewhat attached. Its like my bike talks to me..

Then again it could be I'm just losing my mind with the house being so quiet with the husband deployed lol.
