Idle tuner came off

Hi, I am very new to all of this and this is my first bike. I have a 2009 Ninja 250r and when I was learning some a few months back before winterizing my bike my buddy turned up my idle rpm's so I wouldn't stall as often since I was learning. After letting my bike run for a bit today I tried turning the idle tuner to lower my rpms but it wouldn't go lower than 2.5 I kept turning the idle tuner thinking it would lower and eventually the entire tuner came completely un screwed and I can't figure out where I need to screw it back in. I took both front fairings off and still can't see anything. Can someone help please?

Look on the right side of the carbs, should be a small threaded hole just below the throttle stop. The idle adjustment knob screws in there. see attached pics.
