A few days ago I bought a 03 ninja 250 with 8700 miles on it. When i went to look at it the bike fired right up and ran fine all the lights and everything worked on it and it had been serviced a few days before. The next day I unloaded it from my truck and the thing wouldnt start. I made sure the gas was on and filled the tank with new gas as well as charging the battery but all it will do is crank and never start. apparently the shop it was taken to just changed the spark plugs and cleaned the carbs. im not sure where to go does anyone have any ideas I need to get this thing running. Thanks
My 250 Ninja is a little cold blooded and wants the choke on all the way to start. You need a few basic things to run: spark, air/fuel ratio of approximately 14:1, compression and correct timing. If the bike was running when you bought it the day before, then it should still run. Make sure you are getting fuel to the carbs and spark at the plugs.
