Oil Puddle under Bike After Winter

I bought this 2008 Ninja 250r last Fall and left it in my garage over the winter. I live in Canada so it gets pretty cold - in January I went to take a look at it and noticed a puddle of oil below the bike but it had not leaked a drop throughout October when I was riding it often.

Now I am wondering where to start; what the cause might be, how to fix it or how to trouble shoot and figure out what the problem is.

To add: the oil level is not low but it still will not turn over... Gas is full with stabilizer and battery is charged.

Ran PERFECTLY before I put it away for the Winter.

Did you figure this out? Any updates? Bike will not turn over and an oil puddle under bike are not usually related. Unless there was no antifreeze in the engine and it froze and split.
