Okay, so I'm new here and having an idle issue with my 2000 Ninja 250. From what I was told, the bike sat up for a while bedited I got it. It did not run, but I got it for an absolute steal at $300 and ended up getting it running for under $100 in addition. The bike has a little over 10,000 miles and the issue here is that, when the bike begins to warm up, the idle jumps up to 4-6k rpms. The throttle is a bit sticky, but even when rolled all the way back the issue still persists and the only way to drop the rpms down is to push up a metal tab in between the boots which has some relation to the butterflies/throttle plates. I've checked to be sure the throttle cable isn't kinked or pinched and that the throttle tube moves freely. The carb has been rebuilt since I've gotten the bike and I fear I've damaged something or improperly assembled the carbs which could be causing the issue. Thanks for the help in advance!
