2000 EX 250 Cold Misfire.
Hello to all. I purchased a 2000 Kawasaki EX 250 that had been sitting for 2 years. It ran when I got it, although not well, because the fuel was running out of the carbs like it had a stuck needle valve. After cleaning the carbs, the fuel leak was solved, but the engine misfires badly on the left cylinder when it is cold. I can mist the back of the carb with carb cleaner and the miss straightens out. Once it warms up, it seems to run fine. I have since cleaned the carbs a second and third time, with no change in my problem. I have also replaced the plugs, and switched the coils thinking that it may have a weak coil, to no avail. Could something still be plugged in the carbs, or possibly have a cylinder with low compression? I'm running out of ideas, and if anyone has any I would appreciate it.
