carb jets

You guys have been real helpful to me in the past, so lets crunch some craniums. I was going to install a jet kit on buddy's 03 but he got t-boned by a truck last sunday, he's ok just broke his leg and 3 ribs but he's alive and recovering. I have an 09 just wondering if they were compatible. I actually have a set off of an 05 I was going to experiment with but still need to know if they will interchange with my 09. Thanks for the help.

I can't believe 502 people have looked at this but no one can help. If you can help I would like to know the differences between the carbs on these two years. Again thanks to everyone.

The carbs for the pre gens and new gen 250's are identical.
The only difference is the jetting and the needles.

Stock Pre-gen carbs main jets= #105, pilot jets #38,

Yes & No. It will depend on your exhaust and intake set up. Elevation and temps can also be a factor in your carb set up.
