Adjusting the clutch

Hi I have a 2010 ninja 250 and well I'm having troubles letting the clutch out cause it has so much play before it catches that it's hard to let it out slowly I have small hands so is there a way to adjust it? Thanks for the help in advance!

Unfortunately for the Ninja 250 the friction zone allows the clutch to catch at the very end of the lever travel. There's not much adjustment that you can do to change that point. However there is a fix..Adjustable levers. Adjustable levers will allow you to move the lever closer to the handle bar and still allow the proper clutch release point.

You can Google Review: Clutch & Brake Levers from the2wheel Ebay Store to see what levers people are putting on their Ninja 250's.

thanks to DaBlue1, i was kinda stressing about my clutch, i have average sized hands so i have the stock clutch adjusted to about the middle of the whole movement zone. and mine always catches and doesn't give much room for clutch slip and it kinda goes like so...
- clutch lever all the way forward
-
-
-
- freeplay ^
- clutch still engadged
- clutch starts to release
- clutch fully realeased
-
-
- Handlebar

i was scared because i thought the friction zone being near the end of lever travel was meaning the clutch didn't have much life left, but as far as slip, theres none besides when i make it slip to pull out
