thinking of getting a 250

Hi, I've been thinking of getting a bike after I take a MSF course. I was reading some posts and it seems that the average rider for a 250 is around 5'5" and about 130lbs. So my question is would you recommend a 250 for someone who is 5'11" and weighs 220lbs? I really don't want to start off with something that is to powerful for a begginer, I thought a 250 would be perfect to begin with.

You'll fit and the bike will be just fine. Excellent bike for developing riding skills.

And better yet, even if you don't like it, ninja 250 resale value is pretty high. You might be able to sell it for what you paid. Assuming you don't damage it or anything.

Sweet! resale price for the ninja 250 wasn't even something I thought about when I got mine. I was too excited about riding.

Yeah, resale value isn't something people usually consider since the bike is brand new to them, but the time might come one day when you need/want to get rid of it and it's good to know that ninja 250's generally hold their value pretty well.
