Smile New Member here. :)

Hey guys, new to the forum, and I've been riding a little over two months now- loving every minute of it! My friend got me into Sport Bikes, he owns the Suzuki 600GSX-R in the background, which only motivates me to upgrade to a Zx6r Ninja when I've finally mastered my 250r.
I've done a few things to it so far, like added a new smoked windshield, and smoked LED front turning signals. I'm planning on painting it Pearl White, and doing a full exhaust kit in the near future. I bought it with the Carburetors already jetted, and it has inner-body lights that I can cycle through many different settings. I've unplugged them currently, really not needing an encounter with the police in my area haha.
Glad to be here on 250r.net

Welcome glad u posted a pic of your bike on the 1st post. I think the peal white would look cool, I do have 1 question..why a zx6 ? I would think that a 650 would do better but whatever you do what u want. If you have any questions feel free to ask

I've yet to see a white 250r, especially not in my area, so it'd be nice to have something a little unique. I'm not completely sure to be honest, I'm not all that knowledgeable with 600cc motorcycles yet. I was just going by what my friend recommended, but if you want to give me some tips, pros-cons on the zx6r vs. 650r it'd be much appreciated. I'd like to hear your opinions, you're obviously more experienced than I am.
Okay, will do! Thanks a lot Gabe.

Hi Karma and welcome. Since you have also only ridden for a few months I moved your thread here so it will get more attention.

Feel free to ask anything you want to know about riding and the 250 in general and also invite any other riders you meet to join up.

I have come to terms with the possibility of dying while riding, life has a 100% death rate. I would rather live having fun and end up dead in a motorcycle crash than never do anything fun because it's dangerous and I might get killed. No one makes it out alive anyway. - From a friend on another forum, used with his permission.

I'd look into the lighting more in your state, I believe most states allow the extra lights on a bike because it helps visibility at least I know a lot of guys hat ride with it all the time and never got in trouble for it

I'll have to check that out too, the only reason I was discouraged, is because a lot of the riders around here have been pulled over, and hassled by the cops. I asked a police officer if they'd be alright to have running, and he said it shouldn't be an issue as long as I don't have the strobe setting on.
Thanks a lot man.
