Having problems at stop signs

I just started riding for the first time today on my first motorcycle last which is a sweet 07 250r and I feel pretty good on how I've been doing. My only problem so far is at stop signs turning right. I try to stay in my lane but keep going into other lanes.. I don't have any problems turning right if I don't stop so is there any pointers any one can give me?

hmm you could try sitting in the far left of the lane and then turning as closely to the curb as possible. "Outside, inside, outside" is how you should practice all turns. Don't be afraid to take it slow either. I think it's tempting to get as close to the curb as possible when stopping at a stop sign, but avoid that and get on the opposite side of the lane. Hopefully that helps!

The course instructors always suggest looking where you want to end up. If you look straight ahead as you make a right turn you'll end up going straight ahead. Turn your head to where you'll be ending up and your turn will go smoother.
