Talking New 250r Owner from NJ

hello everyone...the name's Matt. I just recently took the MSF course this weekend and got my license on tuesday and today I went and purchased my first bike, a 2011 Ninja 250r in black. This will be my first bike to gain more riding experience and something to prepare me for a future bike. A lot of people told/made fun of me for not getting a 600cc but i am more than happy with my choice. The ride home from the dealer was awesome. Well I'm sure you all know what a stock 250r looks like but here is the only pic I have of her so far. Glad to be a part of the forums.

Looking good man, its always to see pics of other people's bike and it out on the roads. I know what you mean about the hassle on the engine size! I have been riding my 250 for nearly three years now and I am still not tired of it. Could definitely handle a 600 or larger but I am not in any hurry to upgrade. But anytime I here people make fun of the bike, I just think that they are the ones without a motorcycle and getting 15 mpg and not having any fun while losing that money. The 250 is still a really capable bike. I take mine through the canyons here in Utah all the time and it handles awesomely. Have fun with the bike!

thank you everybody im loving the bike its awesome going to/from work and school. I plan on either getting a rear fender eliminator kit or just doing it myself and getting 4300K or 6000K HID's as far as mods go.

How do you get HID kits? I may put halogens or xenons in mine.

Congrats at the bike man, I just picked mine up just this morning. I'll be posting pics soon.
