can anybody here help me?
So I already posted my situation in the classic 250 arrivals. It's pretty bad and looking for anybody who has the right solution. I got to get some facts straight. I've been reading the other 250 ninja fourums and got an understanding of how the system kinda works. Hopefully when I can find the help I need from where my troubleshooting left off on this electrical system, I can be one step closer to saving our first ninja.
So there's a safety switch system in conjunction to the whole thing. The whole run system will not work unitill the safety system completes its circuit, right? What could and if the oil light on the dash have to do with it not sparking? Could the oil light be on becouse of a bad electrical component like its Cdi? Ive gone into detail about what I've done to troubleshoot in my post. Any other mech. Out there noticed how in the testing the rectifier by the manual, it says to hook up the test light between the negative terminal and black lead and run a jumper from postitive to 1/3 yellow wire, yet on the diagram it shows the test light and lead jumper switched around? Lol...it makes me wonder what else they flawed. Will hooking the test light up either way matter there? Thanks a lot.
