New rider

I don't think I introduced myself yet, so just to make sure I'm posting now.

I'm a new rider from Norcal bay area and Vacaville ca. I have been into cars for a long time. I have done some autox and track events on my miata. I also like canyon runs. I have been wanting a Motorcycle for a long-time, but cars kept me busy. In addition, I was also hesitant because I had no safe place to keep a bike.

But now I have a bike, so life is better. It's a 250R that's not gonna be for commuting. I'm planning to keep this bike for a very long time and track it in the future. It's has full exhaust and I believe the carb was rejeted because it seems to run smooth throughout the RPM. In addition, the gas mileage is not as good as a stock 250R. I could be wrong about my carbs having bigger jets but in two months I will have it tuned anyways, so I will find out one way or the other.

I have done some basic maintenance such as new oil & filter. I got a new uni air filter as well. I could have cleaned my old one but it wasn't in the best shape. My chain alignment tool should be in the mail, I can't wait to tighten up my chain.
