Crowded garage in SoCal

Greetings earthlings:

Here is your requested self-introduction:

The name is Ian. As a relapsed moto junkie, since 2005 I have managed to accumulate way too many bikes and parts in my garage. Current runners include a KLR650, a 1980 Suzuki GS450S, a 1978 Puch/Kromag Pinto moped, and a 1965 Vespa Sprint belonging to my eldest stepson. Current non-runners in various stages of "decrepit" include a 1985 Honda CH250 Elite Scooter, another 1965 Vespa, and a 1970 Moto Guzzi V750 Ambassador which is my "classic" project. There is of course a large pile of associated flotsam and jetsam to go with these bikes, all of which has been nudged aside slightly to make room for one soon-to-be-acquired 2004 Ninja 250 in cracked yellow, the newest object of my youngest stepson's desire. It is a runner but the new owner will not be riding it until he has passed the MSF course and gotten his M1 permit and insurance for the bike. I do all my own work on my bikes and have done a basic tune-up and valve adjustment on a Ninja 250 before, and will be going over this bike to ensure its road-worthiness before turning him loose on it.

I have not yet looked at the FAQs or stickies for this forum. I am of course interested in a free pdf download of the factory service manual if such a thing is available. Thanks in advance for your tolerance of stupid noob questions, which I will try to keep to a minimum. A service manual will help greatly.
