Hello from Racer X

Hello all
I just found this forum . I have been modifying my 2008 ninja 250 since the day I bought it.
My first intentions with the bike was to show how great the ninja 250 was.
SO
I did not have a car and used it as my main source of transportation . I rode it to work year round in Baltimore for two years.

I took both levels of the Lee Parks total Control riding clinic.

I went to the Drag strip and went first time about 17.5 Since then I have gone 14.4 sec @91 mph . I have not seen a faster 1/4 mile time for a 250 ninja. If you have a faster time I would like to see it.

I was going to do an Iron Butt ride . Coast to coast in 50 hours. I still want to do that .BUT I wanted to see how fast the ninja would go . So I went to Maxton North Carolina and ran it on the Monster Mile . A two mile runway they race top speed .Like the Bonneville Salt Flats. The worlds fastest Indian.that sort of thing.

Well I got hooked on land speed racing and never did the Iron Butt ride.
But I did finish in the top ten in the points championship for 2008 and The ninja 250 has broken 6 land speed records .It is currently the Forth fastest Ninja 250 running.
The top speed I have gotten is 112.260 mph in the standing mile.

Ya but you can ride you bike around . Mine goes straight and gets less than 20 mpg. LOL

I just bumped the top speed to 112.3 in the mile last weekend. In two weeks I go to the 1/4 mile to try to go 13.9 sec .

Welcome to the site, I'm new here too... I used to live in Aberdeen, MD... just wanted to give you props for riding year round! Too cold there for me to do that (definitely too cold here in MN to do that...lol). Also want to give you props for your records... thats pretty impressive!
