Not a newbee to the Ninja

Hi everybody... I was an owner of an '89 Ninja 400 and a '90 ZXR 400. Bought both in Okinawa. Sold the '89 to buy the ZXR. What a machine. Would blow away any 600. Sold it to a guy in Cali so he could race it against a bunch of yamadog 400's. Now I have a 2000 Ninja 250 that I bought as a basket case. Slowly buying all the parts to rebuild her. Also in the middle of a cb750 cafe project. Also rebuilt a '71 harley FLH and turned it into a nice bobber. Hope to learn a bunch from you guys about these great little bikes.
Talk to you later.
Dave

Welcome! I'd love to see some pictures of that CB750, both before and after the restoration.

cb project

Here are some pics I have of the cafe project. Little further along than the pics show. Everythig gets repainted or polished and waxed before being assembled. Engine is next on the list. Then finish fabbing the rear fender and some paint.
Thanks for asking
Dave

Looking good. What color are you thinking for the gas tank?

Thought about the original sparkly orange but I also thought about an aluminumized primer I got from work (expired)(yea like paint expires)(maybe after it's dried up) anyway it's a flat silver/aluminum. That with a black and white checkerboard somewhere. Solo seat and a front fairing (one like Arnold had on his bike in the first Terminator)

Thanks for the compliments
Dave
