Anxiously Awaiting Girl In Los Angeles

Hi,
Got my first bike last Christmas: Honda Rebel. Have kept the shiney side up while commuting 20 miles each way in Los Angeles. Sick of big SUVs riding up my ass when I'm WOT at 60mph going uphill in carpool lanes so dropped $100 to put my name on the list for the Ninja 250. I'm fourth in line for a black one!!!
I'm already picking out my fender eliminator, headlight protector, cowling, and exhaust. Glad to be here.
Any other ladies going to Vegas for Femmoto in October?

Signed,
Angela the Ninja-Nerd

I'm not a lady, but I'll be at femmoto doing the co-ed day on the 3rd, then the street demos and pit bitch on the 4th and 5th.

If you feel like you've outgrown your 250, you've probably outgrown your helmet too.

Thumbs up Congrats on being a potential Ninja owner!

Hey there!

Welcome...an LA commuter huh? There's some experience for sure.

No leathers this year and a financial crunch. *sighs* Next year...no matter what.

People driving cars have NO respect for motorcyclists unless they ride themselves. Occasionally I flip them off, but only AFTER they pass me...

Just signed up for Track Demo Day on Saturday at Femmoto (novice group) - looking forward to being on a track for the first time, and hopefully on the Ninja 250!

As for riding in Los Angeles: I assume ALL cage drivers are drunk AND blind AND retarded AND late AND talking on a cell phone... So I don't take many chances around them!

Do, or do not... There is no try.

I assume they all see me, and they're all TRYING to hit me.

Be aware... the novice group at Femmoto is uber slow. I'm talking ~30mph at most on the front straight.

Also... unless they have a Ninja250 there for you to ride, you won't be on your bike. If you want to ride your bike, you'll have to sign up for the regular trackday on Friday.
