Hello from Seattle- Check out my bike mods

Hi everyone... I just joined the forums after having my 2007 Ninja 250 for a few years now... I put about 5000 miles on it in Louisiana and Washington State. I love this little bike and I am always depressed when I can't ride it for some reason (mechanical or weather).

I recently installed a Pirelli Sport Demon front tire and I've done a few modifications since owning it. 50 cal ammo box on one side... couldn't put two cause it was too much weight on the back of the bike and it started to get speed wobbles up front.

Check out my pics and tell what what you think. I'll make sure to post more pics and information about what I've learned about the bike.

Welcome! It's good to get your ride the way you like it, especially if you can do it yourself. So you mentioned speed wobbles up front when you had 2 ammo cans?. Another member here has a similar mod. Not sure if they had that problem? Seems odd though? Just curious, did you notice this wobble before or after you changed tires? Was the tire properly balanced when you changed it?? Are you transporting a lot of weight that is causing your front tire to lift? Not sure on the pre-2008 models but my 2012 has a maximum load of 375 lbs which includes rider(s) and cargo. Would you be carrying more than this?

One more thing. When loading, an even distribution of weight is very important! If things are lopsided, it can affect cornering, braking etc.
