Clear plasti dip

Ok so I just got a new helmet. I have played with plasti dip in black but I was wondering if any if you have used the clear plasti dip? I was thinking if using the clear on my mirror visor. Just to prevent damage. Do you guys think it would work?
Thanks

I guess what I really want to know is the clear plasti dip clear or does it leave it matte? Also will I hurt the finish? I want to use it on a mirrored helmet visor.

I'm getting m helmet today but I don't have the clear plasti dip. Still waiting to see what you all think of this idea. I have searched to web and the only thing I could find out was that it may not be 100% clear. Might give it the frosted look.

The clear plasti dip will distort your vision and leave a matte finish.
