Question PLEASE HELP!! Ex250j vs. 250r????

Hey everyone, right now I have a 2009 ninja ex250j being held for me at a local dealer. My buddy tells me it is smaller in size/height and a little less powerful than the 250r and that I'm making a mistake in purchasing this tiny bike. The same dealer has a few other ninja 250's one is ex250j9f, and the other is ex250a9f...none say 250r, but look to be bigger than my ex250j. I read somewhere online that my ex250j iS what people call the 250"r".....pleeeeeeeease help me before I buy this mini bike!!!! Thanks!

The 2008-20012 model Ninja 250s are all EX250J series. The letter & number designation after the "J" denotes the color scheme of the bike. Kawasaki dropped the "R" for 2012. So if the bike is a 2008-12 model Ninja 250, there is no difference between them other than color. Period.
