Kill switch/starter question

My kill switch was all busted when I bought the bike so I purchased a new assembly. Looks easy to change, but, on the assembly I bought, there's two extra hookups for something. On my bike these wires have been cut. Any ideas?

Hahaha I just noticed the perch is on upside down :sly:

Thanks for that Ghostt, but I have no damn idea how to read that. I'll just Google some pictures or something.

LOL okay Google is a another good choice. I can tell from the pictures that yours is and 08+ model, correct? Did you get the proper one, or is the wires from your bikes harness cut? If possible take some more pictures.

Ok I took a real close look at your pictures again, so the one that is cut only has two wires, with connectors the the wire attaches at a 90 degree angle? And did your brake light work before when applying the front brake?

That's what I've noticed. No brake light from the front, just the back. Yes, its a 2011. With the fairings off, it seems a lot of wiring work has been done. There seems to be no hookup for these two tabs.

Ok easy fix, look by the front brake lever, and the master cylinder, you should see two small male style connections, hook the two females to thoses and problem solved, and your brake light should work again

Nothing, I've spent a good 18 minutes on finding the male ends. Only thing I could find was under the reservoir, a broken piece of plastic that spins.

Okay now we're getting somewhere, take a good look at this link:

The part # 27010 is the brake switch, I'm thinking yours is no longer there.
