kawazaki ninja 250 2012

hi guys im new to site and new to rideing a kawazaki ninja 250 i bought it christmas eve!! and i dropped it christmas day!! :-( no fairing damage but i have bent my gear lever was just wandering if you have any idea how to straighten it with out damageing the paint as im still running it in so i dont want to damage it in any way!!! many thanks ross :-)

Welcome.
Sorry to hear about your new bike. Depending on how bad the shift lever is bent, you may be able to bend it back with a little muscle, if you can't remove it, put it in a vise to straighten it and reinstall it. This may help.

sorry to hear about your misfortune. Almost everyone has laid down a bike at one time or another. Hopefully you got yours out of the way REEEEEEEEALLY early and it won't happen ever again Be safe out there, and respect your abilities.

The damage doesn't look all that bad. The metal is pretty soft, you should be able to bend it back (with a little patience and strength) without totally removing it.

hey i managed to bend it back :-) so it is all in perfect running order. Now to clock up 600 miles at no more then 4000rpm which means a top speed of 37 mph in this british weather is going to be fun!!! :-)

Kawasaki Ninja 250 2012 model is amazing. I have driven it 50 Km, This bike is run like a fighter Jet
