Three hoses come from the fuel tank, the hose that comes out of the rear of the tank (near the seat) is the vent, it just goes down the bike and allows pressure to be released from the gas tank on hot days.
The fuel line is the larger of the two on the petcock(the fuel shut off) and the small one is a vacuum line that allows fuel to flow, they both go to the carbs.

The hole at the bottom front of the air box allows air from the crank case into the air box, the hole at the very bottom of the air box is a drain for oil that came into the air box from the crank case that will need a plug on the bottom end to keep unfiltered air out of the air box.
