Test starting without gas tank

While Im waiting for the paint on my gas tank to cure (3 more days) I want to know if/how I could do a test start without it, ive seen it done. Do i just need a funnel and a tube and hook it up to the gas lead on my carbs? please help.

thanks for your time!

normally there is enough fuel remaining in your fuel lines to start and run it for about a minute or so. if that doesnt work im not too certain unless you put the fuel vacuum lines into a container with fuel or put fuel directly into the line manually.

thanks ivonko!

I did some youtube surfing and a little more investigation and found out it would be okay. I feel like I just need to hear her run again, and remind myself that it wont be much longer xD

Thanks!
