Reinstalling a carb, lost on a tube...

Hello riders!

A few years ago I purchased a 250, and then promptly deployed. This was my first bike, a I didnt store it properly for winter. When I came home, the carb needed to be cleaned. I could afford to pay someone to do it at the time, and im not mechanically inclined enough to do it myself, so it sat for a while =(

But I recently ran into a buddy who IS pretty mechanically inclined, and we figured together we could make a project out of it and get it done.

We got the carb off, but putting it back together, theres a wall we ran into.

We can remember where the hell we got this tube from.

Attached are some pictures for your viewing pleasure.

The first is where we THINK the hose goes.

The second is the hose attached, but we cant figure out where to connect it....

If any of you could help us figure this out, it would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

It's a carb vent hose and attaches to nothing. Sits on top of the airbox, right where it is.
