Gear shift lever bolt MIA

Hi Folks

This morning, as I was shifting from gear two to three I experienced the horror of broken gear shift lever. To clarify, the shift lever itself does not seem broken but the bolt that joins the gear shift lever to the spline went MIA.

I had changed up into third gear and the lever felt weird. I then couldn't feel it with my foot. Looking down confirmed what I'd feared - the gear shift lever had come away. Still attached to the bike, but useless. Has this ever happened to any of you before? I have never touched that bolt.

Does anyone know what kind of bolt is it and how much it costs? I called the local motorcycle shop (Woodbridge, VA) and they couldnt tell me over the phone. They asked me to bring the bike into them (I would rather not ride my bike 10 miles in 2nd gear).

Any ideas about the exact bolt type?

The shift bolt is a part number 92002 (Bike bandit #620675-001 $9.18).
There are 2 washers you may need also 92022,92022A (Bike bandit #622671-001 $2.78, #G23011-001 $3.08)
