Tachometer Not working / Blinker problem

I NEED HELP PLEASE! I just recently bought a 2008 Kawasaki Ninja (pretty much for fuel reasons now that gas is almost 4 dollars a gallon) and it has a couple of issues. 1. My Tachometer is not working. I have taking the front off and am looking at the tach and need to know where to go from here. It does not do anything! Doesn't jump, or nothing. 2. Blinkers do not work. When pushing the blinker to either side nothing happens. The indicator light on the dash doesn't even do anything. Where do I start???? THANKS!

Check fuses for blinkers. Could also be the flasher relay. For tach, is is fused?? It could be tach, a sensor maybe.
