Tires.

I have a 2008 250r and I do believe it is time to change the tires. Now the front one is in better condition than the back. But I might as well change them both at the same time. So my question is this. What sizes do I need and where can I get then cheap? I still have the factory rims on it if that helps any. I checked a local tire shop around here. But they wanted wayyyy too much for just a back tire.

I just recently replaced my tires. I found some cheap ones with good reviews on Amazon. They are the Kenda k671 tires. I paid 141 bills for both tires, shipped. The size you need is 110/70-17 for the front and 130/70-17 for the rear. My local bike shop charged me 50 bills to mount my new tires. I saw some cheaper tires that were 115 for both but the reviews were horrible. Those tires were shinko brand. Stay away from that brand lol. Hope this helps...

If I were you I would go with the 110/70/17 for the front and then throw a 140/70/17 on back. I here it calls for. Better ride. But that's just what I've. Heard. I haven't replaced my stock tires yet.

You can Google search for Tires available for the 2008 & up Ninja 250R or New gen tire options.

American Motorcycle Tire
has good selection, prices and free delivery.

I actually switched to Kendas for now. The guy I bought my bike from had road winners on it and I looked to replaced them and there horrible they're not even the right grade of tires for the bike. The tires I'm investing in now and I heard are some of the beat are Battle Axe tires
