Dash Lights Burned Out

I have a 2008 250R and the last dash/gauge light has finally burned out. The first one went out over a year back. I have found that 194 bulbs are the replacements. How many does it take? Indicators are fine, its just the illuminators for the Tach, speedo, and fuel gages. I also found at Autozone, 168/194 LED versions. Are these a better replacement? Anybody try them? And lastly how much fairing do I have to remove to get to them? Thanks for the help.

As far as I know, you would only have to take the plastic where the headlights are located to get to the back of the gauges. I noticed when I took it out to replace my headlight bulbs
