Brake fluid leak

Hello , I recently changed the brake fluid on my bike and it didnít go as smooth as I planned.

For the front brake reservoir when I filled it to the line per instructions in the manual and cleaned the bellow and cap. I closed everything up but low and behold fluid start seeping out and I took some out. But over night even more leaked out so I took even more fluid out and now the brake fluid level isnít even to the top of the line. Itís well above the lower level line but just doesnít make sense to me that it started leaking when filled to the ďrightĒ amount. Any comments , suggestions ? P.s the plastic cap or bellow isnít cracked.

For the rear the screw striped so now I gotta find a replacement. But besides that Iím gonna assume you check the level with the bike up straight. When I do the fluid is tilted to the back so do I reference off of the rear or the back of the fluid level to match the upper level. Because the rear is a bit higher the the front level because of the way it is.

Thank you.
