Sediment in Oil?

Heres a picture of the drain pan from my oil change. Is this normal with a wet clutch?

Difficult to see to be sure, but a little bit is fine, how often do you change your oil?

Ive only been riding for a month and a half. My bike has 3500 miles on it. I got it when it had 2200 so this is my first one.

Another detail.... My engine took the full 2 quarts to got to the full line(a hair below) but i read that it takes 1.7. Is that normal for a 2011?

There was some black stuff that almost looked like ash and it looked like some silvery stuff too.

The oil level should be in the middle of the lines, I assume your checking with the bike upright, NOT on the kickstand, and on level ground.

The amount is in liters not quarts, which equals 57.5 ozs/1.8 quarts.

So if you filled it up the top line it is possible. What oil did you use? Was this the first oil change you know of? Don't trust the previous owner.

I bought it from a dealership, a very reputable one in my area, and like i think i said, it only had 2000 miles on it. So its possible its the first but i doubt the dealership didnt change it once.

I used Valvoline 20w50(i live in Florida) but Im a dumbass and forgot to get full synthetic. I dont know how i forgot something like that but Im going to change it again after 500 miles
