Difficulty levels of maintenance

I recently bought a 09 ninja 250 and took it to the mechanic to have it checked over, it needs:
-fork seal replacement
-front and rear brake pad replacement
-chain and sprocket replacement
-It also has an unknown clutch issue that makes it so that even though the clutch cable is new, it is maxed out on the adjustment, but I'm already having him check that out.

They're charging me $950(before even knowing what's wrong w/ the clutch) for everything, I think that's wayyyy too much. I've decided on maybe just buying the parts and doing it myself. And I was wondering what the difficulty of these tasks was?

Also does anyone know how to obtain a service manual?

Fork seal replacement is tedious. I've done the two others, but took it in to a local shop for the fork seal and paid about $70. Chain and sprockets are easy. Have to get the sprocket cover off and remove the back tire. You may also need to cut/grind off the old chain.

Brake pads are really easy. You should be able to Google the service manual. Also, most likely, you'll be able to find how to videos on youtube. I've done all the stuff to my bike using ninja250.org

I don't even own a service manual. That site and Youtube and I've done all of the work on my bike myself outside of the fork seal.

For the clutch, I'd take it to a local shop and ask how much they'd charge just to diagnose it.

thanks for the reply and I have taken the bike to the shop they diagnosed it and emailed me back saying, "Upon disassembly we determined the following components are worn: Clutch steels and fibers, clutch actuator arm, needle bearing and seal. We recommend replacing the above listed components along with a new clutch cover gasket and changing the engine oil and filter."

Do you know anything about that?^^^
I've already told them to fix it and I plan on getting the forks resealed somewhere else as I have found a cheaper place

I do plan on replacing the chain and sprocket and the brakes by myself.

I honestly haven't gotten into my clutch or lower case of my engine at all as I've had no need to. So I know nothing about that lol.
