Where should the coolant level be sitting?

I bought a used 08 250r and i was wondering what level should the coolant level be sitting on if the bike's been sitting for.. overnight perhaps?

The book says: 1. Check the water level when the engine is cold -(morning is good)
2. Check the coolant level in the reserve tank (behind the right side faring) with the motorcycle held perpendicular (do not use the sidestand). 3. If the coolant level is lower than the "L" (L for Low) level line, fill to "F" (F for Full) line.
