This is a slow, somewhat boring forum...

Flame me if you must. I'm not trying to insult anybody or the forum in general.

I have been a part of many forums over the years, changing forums as I change bikes. I don't know if this forum has a low "population" or if the people here just don't post much, but there just isn't much activity here. I have been trying to figure out why the post counts are so low. The only things I can think of are:
  1. There are not many members of the forum
  2. The forum has a mostly younger membership that isn't very interested in replying to posts
  3. The forum has a mostly younger membership that isn't fully comfortable with using a forum as a form of communication
  4. The forum members are out riding and forum activity will jump as the weather gets colder

Again, I'm not trying to cause problems. In fact, I would love to see some replies just to prove me wrong.

Have at it...

I thought the same thing when comparing this forum to r6-forum.com. Seems like there aren't allot that stick with this bike to be knowledgeable enough to give advice. Hopefully with allot of racing clubs opening up 250 classes things will pick up since three should be an increase in people who by these bikes with the intent to mod, and ride them for some time.

Mercenary, you made a good point about the quick turnaround with 250's.

Haven't seen the new bikes yet. I've been too busy working out of town. I still need to put new tires on my 250 so I can actually ride it.

I play the picture game on my V-Strom forum. Once I get my 250 road worthy I will join in here too.

I noticed the same about this forum. There are still some owners here that are full of advise and very helpful. I'm actually looking into buying the new 636 soon, but I intend on keeping my 250. I'm at about 27,300 miles on my bike which I bought brand new last feb...needless to say.. I'm usually out riding.. A lot..

I ride all year round! Rain, or shine! Even in a few dust storms. Of course, here in Arizona, riding all year is doable. Take care of your bike and it will take care of you!

Yeah it seems a little dead. I dont know though, 30+ people viewed my introduction post and hardly nobody bothered to say hi. Hmm maybe not a very friendly forum. Lol
